Meet Dr. Ala-May Lumibao.

Dr. Ala-May Lumibao is the second in our physician spotlight series. Her skills and compassion, however, are second to none. Dr. Lumibao completed a residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center after graduating from St. Lukes College of Medicine. Since completing a fellowship at Harlem Hospital Center, Dr. Lumibao went on to become a specialist in the field of infectious diseases. Dr. Lumibao is licensed and certified with NY State and the American Board of Internal Medicine (with certifications in both internal medicine and infectious disease).

Currently working as a resident physician at Gold Crest Care Center’s facility, Dr. Lumibao is well respected among our staff and adored by our clients. Her kind demeanor, sense of dedication to patients and families and extensive knowledge in the field make her an invaluable asset to our community. Her fluency in multiple languages puts her on the front lines to serve patients who might otherwise find quality medical treatment impossible to receive.

Physician Spotlight : Meet Dr. Owen Golden, MD: Medical Director

Gold Crest Care Center understands that the key to running a trusted NYC nursing home lies in the staff we hire. With over thirty years of medical experience under his belt, Dr. Owen Golden leads our team of medical professionals with confidence, compassion and a keen eye for patient health. After graduating from the Universidad Aut in 1983, Dr. Golden has been practicing medicine in the Bronx and is affiliated with the Montefiore Medical Center. With fluency in English, Spanish and Tagalog, he brings an ability to speak to under served patients in their native languages, thereby building a rapport that allows for effective communication and optimal treatment. Dr. Golden specializes in internal medicine and has successfully guided our staff of doctors and nurses through the daily challenges of working with the aging population for years.
